gulp-strip-code plugin is used to remove sections of code.\nUsefull to remove code from production builds that are only needed in development and test environments, or to remove custom internationalized information. \nThis plugin uses start and end comments to identify the code sections to strip out. For example:\n\n> Inspired by [grunt-strip-code](https://github.com/nuzzio/grunt-strip-code)\n\n```css\n/*! i18n EN start */\n.onlyEnStyle {\n    color: red;\n}\n/*! i18n EN end */\n\n.otherStyle {\n    color: red;\n}\n```\n\n```js\n/* test-code */\nremoveMeInProduction();\n/* end-test-code */\n\ndoNotRemoveMe();\n```\n\n## Getting Started\nFirst, install `gulp-strip-code` as a development dependency:\n\n```shell\nnpm install gulp-strip-code\n```\n\n## The \"strip_code\" task\n\n### Overview\nAdd to your `gulpfile.js`:\n\n```js\nvar stripCode = require('gulp-strip-code');\n\ngulp.task('templates', function(){\n  gulp.src(['file.txt'])\n    .pipe(stripCode({\n      start_comment: \"start-test-block\",\n      end_comment: \"end-test-block\"\n    }))\n    .pipe(gulp.dest('build/file.txt'));\n});\n```\n\n### Options\n\n#### options.start_comment\nType: `String`\nDefault value: `test-code`\n\nThe text inside the opening comment used to identify code to strip.\n\n#### options.end_comment\nType: `String`\nDefault value: `end-test-code`\n\nThe text inside the closing comment used to identify code to strip.\n\n#### options.keep_comments\nType: `Boolean`\nDefault value: `false`\n\nSets the behaviour to keep the identifying comments or not.\nSetting a truthy value for keep_comments will enable it.\n\n#### options.pattern\nType: `RegExp`\nDefault value: (a generated RegExp matching the start and end comments)\n\nIf the default start and end comment matching doesn't work for you needs, you can supply your own RegExp to match against. If the `pattern` option is specified, the `start_comment` and `end_comment` options are ignored.\n\n## Tests\n\n```shell\nnpm test\n```\n\n## Contributing\n\nIn lieu of a formal styleguide, take care to maintain the existing coding style.\nAdd unit tests for any new or changed functionality.
